Mr. Toast Searches for His Roots

Mr. Toast took a trip to LaPorte, Indiana to search for his roots, his beginnings if you will. He happened upon the Bunny Bread bakery and just had to stop to take a photo. He's a bit blurry because he was so excited.

Mr. Toast had to stop by this local restaurant that reminded him of his good friend "Joe the Egg."



Next time, maybe he'll get there before they close so he can try the food- I hope they don't mistake him for a menu item!

Let's Build a Snowman...

It was getting late in the day, but there was still time to build a small snowman before it got dark.

First, you have to make a large ball out of snow. Mr. Toast had some help rolling this one, but here he is packing the snow around the base so the snowman is nice and round but doesn't roll away!


The second section of the snowman is a bit smaller than the first, but Mr. Toast had a bit of trouble setting it on top of the larger, first snowball.

Frozen Toast!

A 3 inch snowfall in Chicago got Mr. Toast out of the house. Chicago didn't have much snow this year, so everyone was out enjoying the white stuff - including Mr. Toast.

After a busy day in the Science Lab, Mr. Toast decided to kick back and play some air hocky in the student union.

Mr. Toast has been exploring higher education this week. So far, he's been to the college library, and now he's experimenting in the science lab.....
